-|- The Rules -|-
1. The main characters in this game are approximately ten or eleven years of age. Adult situations should not come up, but they are starting to turn into teenagers. Should adult situations occur, make sure your posts have some kind of warning. Cursing could happen, and don't necessarily have to have a warning, but keep the cursing to a minimum.
2. If you are familiar with Role-play games, then this rule is old hat. Godmodding, powerplaying, taking over another's character in your posts without the original owner's consent... it's not tolerated. In fact, it's grounds for suspension from our game. We go back the three strikes and you're out bit. You'll get two warnings. Third time, your character (s) will be taken from you, deleted from the game, and you will not be able to re-apply. Your character (s) will also be up for grabs to whomever wants them.
3. Please, for the love of all that is Hey Arnold, if you get into an argument with another player in our game, don't take it out in your threads and don't go at it in instant messages or things like that. Let one of the staff members know what is going on. We'll act as conflict mediators and try to help you through those problems.
4. If you have a problem with a staff member, don't resort to name calling, threatening, or doing anything you wouldn't do in a normal argument. The more professional you are in presenting your case to a DIFFERENT staff member, the more likely we are to be able to help you resolve the problem.
5. Icons and signatures. They all have rules to them as well. Icons must be EXACTLY 100x100 pixels. As far as signatures go, they can be no larger than 300x500 pixels. Three hundred is the height and five hundred is the width. If you are going to link us to any pictures, please do just that. Put a link in your thread. We don't want images cluttering up the boards. Some of us are still, sadly, on a dial up modem.
6. Perfect characters are not real characters. They do not exist. Don't make your character a perfect character. When you create your character, think of how they act in the TV show and the movie. They have strengths. They have weaknesses. They have fears. They have flaws. They have personalities. Make sure that comes across in both your application, and your threads.
7. Attendance is a necessity. If you are going to be MIA for more than three days, and you don't give us a logical reason, your character will be placed on a hiatus list. You will have one week to give us a reason you were gone, or you will be deleted from the board for good. We understand if you've had computer problems, and the only excuse we'll let you have is if you've had a major natural disaster and have lost power, but if you've just lost interest, then give up your characters.
8. When it comes to your profiles, please know that we are searching for both quality and quantity, but more so on the quality part. We are looking for people who can believably play these characters. If we ask you to change your profile or add to it, or edit it, then please do so. We are also a very literate game. If you have a couple of mistakes in your application, then that's fine. But no net speak... at... all.
9. Until you have posted an application and have been accepted by a staff member, you should not reply to any of the topics. If we see this, you will be automatically banned.
10. When you fill out an application, you will be prompted with a question, asking if you've read the rules, and what you think of the game so far. Please respond with the word "Rubbish" as it appears in the quotations. This means, make the R a capital R, and the rest of the letters lowercase.
